Oda Bultum University in collaboration with West Hararge Zone Attorney office has delivered capacity building training for 40 West Hararge Zone Attorney public prosecutors on “Civil Suit Litigations”.
Mr. Zekeriya Abdurhaman, OBU School of Law Dean, in opening remarking said that “The judicial system is fundamental to checks and balances that public prosecutors are at the core of the system in ensuring due process and rule of law for the society to flourish”. He added that, this event creates a linkage between the university and the Justice Institutions to serve the community in a better way in the future concerning due process and rule of law.
The objectives of the training are: to enhance the trainees to promote the common rule of law culture, uphold fundamental rights, awareness of digitalization of justice and develop professional skills.
The training underlined the crucial role of prosecutors to ensure the rule of law and foster the wellbeing of the community by standing for Justice.
