Oda Bultum University has Celebrated 18th Nations, Nationalities and Peoples day with football match to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of Ethiopia that guaranteed equal rights to all ethnic groups of Ethiopia.
Following the decisions passed by The FDRE House of Federation (HoF) that the day to be celebrated with various events that promote the values of equality and solidarity while cementing national unity, the University has celebrated the day with football match.
The football match has been conducted between group A (that comprised of CoSSH, CoA, IoT,IoLA and SoL) and group B (which comprised of CoNCS, CoBE, CoHS and CoNRES) and attended by Vice president, deans, directors, department heads and university communities.
On the occasion, group A has won group B in 2 to 1 and received the cup of the match from the hands of Dr. Ibsa Ahmed, OBU Administrative and Development Vice President and he has congratulated group A and thanked the facilitators for organizing such colorful event.
