Oda Bultum University conducted A field visit

Oda Bultum University Research and Community Service Vice President Office conducted a field visit and panel discussion. The field visit was conducted at Arba Rekete Research and Research Center and Asebot Kilaster Farmers’ Field in Miso Woreda. The visit included high officials of the university, college deans, directors, school department heads as well as from M/H/Zone, Chiro and MI. So woredas that have been called High level government leaders, model farmers and stakeholders have participated. The visit was concluded with a panel discussion after Arbe Rekete and various research findings found in the Asebot farm (from providing the best seeds to monitoring and support covered by the university) and Arbe Reketena and various research findings in the university campus.

Professor Mukhtar Mohammed, the president of Oda Bultum University, during his speech, he mentioned that the university has done and is doing a lot of work in the areas of education, research and community service. The university will continue to be supported by research and research to increase productivity and to ensure the overall benefit of the society. They say he works hard.
The president said Akleum University is working on short and long term plans to implement food security, property change, environmental protection and multi-life care.
The vice administrator of Central/H/ zone Mr. Teshome Kebede has expressed that he will work hand in hand with the university to ensure the benefit of the zone and the country. He thanked the university.
The main objective of the field visit is to show the results of the research and research done at the research center to the participants in a good way.
In these agricultural research and research centers, there are different types of cereals, vegetables and fruits as well as cattle produce, wheat, barley, sugar potato, 3 month old wheat, teff, beans and so on.
It has been pointed out that these types of cereals will not only guarantee the food security of the farmers, but also benefit from foreign currency. The farmers who participated in the panel discussion have thanked the university for the professional support and support they are providing for them and asked them to stand with them.
Finally, during the panel discussion, encouraging comments from the participants and the best experience seen in Oda Bultum University has been reached to a common point.
