Oda Bultum University and DINA Investment Group, Ethiopia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 21 May 2025 to foster collaboration.
The agreement calls for both institutions to work together on the area of joint research projects, environmental impact assessment, agriculture, food quality assessment, capacity building, strengthening practical education, and employment opportunities, and resource sharing. The agreement also intends to include contemporary business and economics trends into the framework in order to achieve multi-disciplinary works that are grounded in science.
In addition the agreement intends to promote university-industry interactions and address existing gaps, the Memorandum of Understanding outlines the roles and responsibilities of both institutions by indicating future directions.
Professor Muktar Mohammed, OBU President signed the agreement on the behalf of Oda Bultum University and Mr. Enyew Zeleke, Deputy General Manager signed the agreement on behalf of DINA Investment Group.
Finally the team from Oda Bultum University led by Professor Muktar Mohammed, OBU president have visited potential resources across DINA food processing located at Adama and it’s production capacity including: food processing plants, food quality assessment, and etc.
