Oda Bultum University School of Law

 

Oda Bultum University School of Law has been established within the context of the broader objectives of the University. The School of Law was officially established by the decision of the University Senate in July 2018.The Law School is one of the nine colleges/Institute/Schools of Oda Bultum University which is located at the new campus.  Even though It was established by holding three staffs, now it is the School with 15 men instructors and 1 Female Instructors of the total with 16 staffs. The School has a strong presence in the community among others via the Free Legal Aid center of the School of Law. At the moment it is offering the undergraduate trainings and is strongly working in diversifying trainings in near future.

Mission

The School  shall contribute towards the intellectual and social conditions of Ethiopia by providing equitably accessible quality legal education and training programs through teaching, research and service to prepare competent and responsible members of the legal profession who actively contribute towards rule of law, democracy, human rights, good governance, social justice, equity, tolerance and development.

Vision

The School vision is to elevate the standard and quality of legal education to the level of leading law schools in East African Countries by the 2035, and towards preparing graduates who will have optimum impact in Ethiopia’s development, democracy, good governance and social justice
