The University graduated its first batch of 223 continuing education program students on November9.2019 in a colorful ceremony held in the university. The program for the graduation ceremony was opened with playing Oromo folk music by Oda Bultum band followed by opening remark delivered by Mrs Kerima Rahmeto, continuing and distance education program directorate director.
In her congratulatory message at the ceremony Mrs Kerima congratulated the graduating students and those who contributed towards the success of the students. According to Kerima, continuing education at Oda Bultum University was first started in 2016/2017 in three departments at Chiro and Hirna centers. Since then the University has been expanding it to different disciplines and centers as part of discharging its responsibilities of producing professional work force
Guest of honor of the ceremony Dr Daniel Tadesse, Administration and Students’ Affairs vice president has handed over degree awards for the graduates. Dr Daniel also affirmed the graduates to serve their society and the country with full responsibility and dedication.
