Oda Bultum University Graduates First Batch Students

One of the young government higher education institutions in Ethiopia, Oda Bultum University, graduated its 1st Batch of 558 students on July 20, 2019 at ceremony held in the main campus.  The University graduated the students with BA and   BSc. Degrees from its regular education program up on completion of their three to four years of studies.

The program for the graduation ceremony was started with playing of the national anthem, subsequently continued through the speeches delivered by pertinent bodies and presentation of different awards in the order of distinction graduates.

In his brief congratulatory message at the graduation ceremony Dr Muktar Mohammed, the president of the University, congratulated the graduating students, their parents and loved ones, as well as the University community and those who contributed towards the success of the students.

Speaking on her part Dr Hirut Kasaye, minister of Ethiopian Ministry of Culture and Tourism and head of Oda Bultum University board, congratulated all students and highlighted on the pivotal role that education plays in the development of any country. She underlined that in developing countries like Ethiopia, it is mandatory to equip citizens with quality education so that they would be able to be competitive on world market.
